BAMTEC® is a new and particularly economic method for the planning, manufacturing and installation of reinforcements for concrete floors, slabs, walls, bridges, railway lines, tunnels and motorways.
The BAMTEC® - element system is essentially modifying the conventional method. No itemized individual bars or meshes will be supplied to the site any longer. Complete, rolled-up reinforcement layers are applied instead so to speak tailor-made reinforcing elements from the static engineer individually designed, and automatically fabricated big reinforcement elements, which are delivered as rolls to the construction site and rolled out. Due to the big surfaced BAMTEC ® -elements over-joints drop almost completely. An installation power of about 2 metric tonnes/per man hour shortens the reinforcement laying time of up to 80% and saves up to 40% in reinforcement steel compared to conventional reinforcement methods.
The FEM-calculation and the CAD construction are connecting amazingly with BAMTEC®. Therefore a single rebar is staggered exactly after the As-level curve, the FEM-calculation. Each parallel laying rebar can show another diameter, another length and another distance than the prior one. Diameters, lengths and distances of the steel bars are determined under precise consideration of all relevant norms and regulations. The data of the reinforcement is sent directly to the BAMTEC® producer and controls the fully automatic BAMTEC® reinforcement machine.
BAMTEC® easy super from Zweistein Software, one of the 14 available software programs worldwide, generates automatically the control data and the manufacturing plans to produce BAMTEC® reinforcement elements, roll-out plans for the construction site and overview plans for the test engineer. The ability to manufacture these BAMTEC® elements and the vibrator gaps are revised automatically. As well the program can be used without previous FEM-calculation. The program is easy to handle, multilingual and doesn’t require AutoCAD nor another CAD-program.
