DEUFRA Actuators is the German subsidiary company of the family business founded in 1936 by Lucien Bernard in Paris, L.BERNARD. In 1998, L. BERNARD was the world′s fourth largest producer of electrical industry actuators. With a staff of some 250 people, the company reached a turnover of 50 million DM. Today, BERNARD operates 27 distribution and service offices in the world, a.o. in China, Korea, Malaysia and Singapore. Our actuators are now also manufactured in license in China.

The DEUFRA-Profitlich-Bernard GmbH is the German distribution and service establishment of L. BERNARD. The company was founded in 1969 by Mr. Bernard and Mr. Profitlich. In Germany, DEUFRA has 18 employees and reaches on average 9 million DM turnover. DEUFRA has its own warehouse for actuators, motors and small spare parts in Troisdorf, which enables the company to have short delivery times of 2 to 4 weeks. Round-the-clock service is also available for our customers. Over 200,000 BERNARD actuators are currently in use in Germany.
